Experience the thrill of the dunes and the beauty of the beach along the Pacific ocean with this guided tour from Spinreel Dune Buggy & ATV Rental. During this two-hour guided tour, you'll drive a latest-model Polaris off-road vehicle to see wildlife, marine wildlife, and endless amazing views of the largest expanse of coastal sand dunes in North America on this complete dune, forest, and beach riding experience.

Enjoy a three-mile sand trail through the forest to the beach, then head south on the beautiful Pacific Coast beach for five fabulous miles. Next, your guide will lead you onto a trail through the forest and back to the dunes, where you'll head farther south to Boxcar Hill. Here you'll enjoy spectacular views of Coos Bay and the historical McCullough Memorial Bridge.

This tour will go to the RZR Corral at the Spinreel Outpost at Boxcar for a short break before heading back north to Spinreel. On the return trip, riders will visit Swing Tree Hill to enjoy 360-degree views of the Oregon Dunes and the Pacific Ocean, with pine trees and beach grass waving in the breeze. See the famous Spider Tree that grows in the center of the dunes, taking on the appearance of a giant spider. This is Oregon at its best!

Get Directions

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Proper clothing and gear will help you get the most out of your riding experience.

Required safety gear, including helmets and goggles, is provided.

Consider dressing in layers: long-sleeve shirt, light jacket or rain jacket, closed-toe shoes, a neck gaiter to wear beneath your helmet.

Feel free to bring a backpack with water, snacks, sunscreen, etc.
