Lush forests and towering ponderosa pines line the Five Points High Desert Tour as guests explore with Outriders Northwest in the latest Polaris RZRs. This all-day expedition takes you through various ecosystems within the Deschutes National Forest and The Bureau of Land Management in Central Oregon. Start at Plot Butte, Oregon and reach an elevation of 5,365 feet to soak in the breathtaking views of the high cascades backed up by the Oregon High Desert. Continue along the path to Aspen Flats, an oasis of lush greenery and blooming wildflowers accompanying the abundance of aspen trees. Explore The Cave, where you can hike to a lava tube cave formed over 80,000 years ago by a lava crust solidifying over the top of flowing lava. Climb back in the Polaris RZR and head towards the largest juniper trees in Oregon, located in Lake County. After you get the perfect photo with these iconic trees, head to the last stop, The Mine. In the 1940’s, a prospector spotted opal in the road and discovered the opal mine filled with all of the colors of the rainbow. Get a first-hand look at these unique gems before cruising back to Outriders Northwest. Embark on this journey full of scenic vistas, trees of all kinds, wildlife including deer, pronghorns, black bears, mountain bluebirds, white-crowned sparrows and more!
