About this Adventure
Go big or go home! The San Juan High Country Expedition is our longest trail tour: five hours to explore the San Juan Mountains, with lunch included. It departs daily at 10 AM from the Ice Pirates base camp starting January 4, 2027.
Your adventure guide leads you through multiple zones of our 55,000-acre riding area on a route carefully planned around snow conditions, rider experience, and safety. You’ll ride past frozen Molas Lake and through historic mining country, then climb above treeline into the high alpine. Depending on your group and conditions, you may head off-trail into powder and terrain that only a handful of snowmobilers see all winter.
The day is yours to customize. Want more time above treeline? Have a few landmarks or vistas on your must-see list? Just tell your guide. All that riding builds an appetite, so lunch is included, enjoyed on the mountain wherever it’s best to stop and rest. It’s made for adventure seekers, family bonding, #squadgoals crews, and winter wonderland enthusiasts.

Cancellation Policy
A great deal of preparation accompanies your reservation requiring the following cancellation policy: 50% may be refundable if your reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours (3 days) before the reservation date. Cancellations inside 72 hours of tour or rental departures are not subject to refund and will be charge the full balance. No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds. Although, a one-time date or time change may be allowed within the same year, based on availability and circumstances. A $15 per person change fee will apply.
