Trailhead Resort is only 6 miles from the historic town of Bramwell, West Virginia, where the Hatfield-McCoy Pocahontas Trail begins. Roads between the resort and the Hatfield McCoy Trail are ATV friendly, so you will not have to trailer your off-road machines. The Hatfield-McCoy Trails cut and wind through the beautiful mountains of southern West Virginia to create one of the largest off-highway vehicle trail systems in the world. These award-winning trails are open to ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, mountain bikes, horseback riders, and hikers. The trails are open for business 365 days a year and offer many different trail types to suit riders of every interest and skill level.

Get Directions
Guests are recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, and long shirts and pants for a safe, comfortable ride.
A neck gaiter or bandana is also recommended for dust, to wear beneath your helmet (helmet and goggles are always provided.)
Bring extra layers like a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt in case of weather changes.
Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, bug spray, and sunscreen.
