About This Adventure

For you and your guests only. The trailhead is only five minutes from the company’s Mountain Village office, learn about the old mining days and the early use of electricity while enjoying the spectacular scenery on this guided trail ride. Tours are conducted on a regularly groomed trail system. Ideal for families with children, groups, and history buffs with beginner to intermediate snowmobiling experience. Tours are offered three times a day (morning, afternoon, and evening) to this historic old mining camp. Tours are staged from our base facility located just minutes from Telluride. Tours are conducted on a regularly groomed trail system. Ideal for families with children, groups, and history buffs with beginner to intermediate snowmobiling experience. Single Rider: Drive your own snowmobile as a single rider, with no passenger on the back. To drive a snowmobile you must have a normal auto drivers license and be able to provide a valid ID. Double Riders: Drive a snowmobile with one passenger on the back. Perfect for couples or parent and child duos. Driver of the snowmobile must have a normal auto drivers license and be able to provide a valid ID.

Get Directions

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Guests are recommended to wear winter clothing, including winter socks and snow boots, waterproof gloves, snow pants and parka, and winter hat.

A neck gaiter or scarf is recommended to wear beneath your helmet (helmet and goggles are always provided.)

Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, sunglasses, and hand and toe warmers.
