A small hike off the trail system you will see a sight worth seeing. Back in 1965, a T-33 military jet crashed, and the Air Force left the crash site. Parts from the wreckage are scattered all over the mountain, including the jet engine, tail section, and fuselage. Two pilots perished in the crash, and the Air Force established a memorial at the site. Both pilots fought in the Korean and Vietnam war and were in the process of transporting the plane back to Buckley Air Force when the plane disappeared off of the radar for no reason. The Air Force did an extensive investigation to figure out what happened but came up with no conclusion for the crash. Please note the crash is around 9,000 feet high. For this reason, it's not until late May, when the snow melts, that we have access to the site.
This trail system also offers the ability to see moose in their natural habitat. There is a large area where these majestic animals traverse, and many people see them on a daily bases. They hang out in a marshy area called the Pony Ponds a majority of the time. It's an easy hike just off of the main trail and is fun for the whole family.
This trail ranges from easy to extreme and everything between. So if you are looking for a true Colorado Experience, this trail system is Certified Family Fun.

"Sara was great to work with to book and set us up. Mikey the Tail- Boss was very helpful too. The RZR 1000 performed great and trail was fun and scenery was awesome. Strongly recommend!"
"To start off, staff was some of the friendliest bunch of people ive met. We went into the shop on a Friday before they closed and next day we came in ready to have an adventure. Process was very simple, Pick your vehicle, sign a few documents, safety instructions, drive to location THEY TAKE YOUR VEHICLE FOR YOU "thats right they transport your vehicle for you unlike other locations that you either have to have your transport or pay extra to rent a trailer" have the time of your life ripping the trail, drop off and go home. IF we ever find ourselves back in Estes Park we will definitely be back for another adventure, Thank you to the whole staff for making this such a memorable time!"

"3 families went together on 3 UTV's. The reservation process was easy and straightforward. There was great communication leading up to the day of the reservation in terms of reminders, what we needed and what to expect. They even let us know a few days prior that a parade was happening that would block access to their shop and where we should park instead. Very, very helpful and stress reducing! All instructions (both verbal and written) were very clear the day of, and their systems for checking in, loading up and handing in equipment were quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. The equipment worked well and everybody had a great time! We highly recommend!"
