Start the engine of a state-of-the-art Polaris Slingshot and climb up Mount Washington Auto Road, a steep, eight-mile scenic thoroughfare that leads the highest peak in the Northeast, Mount Washington, reaching an elevation of 6,289 feet. The journey to the top of Mount Washington features an 8.4% grade that opens up to a 360° scenic view of WildCat Mountain, the largest mountain in New Hampshire. While on top of the peak, guests can visit the Mount Washington observatory, a notorious weather station that aims to advance the understanding of the natural systems that create Earth’s weather and climate.
