For four fabulous hours, you'll adventure along the famous North Shore of Lake Superior, getting to sites and overlooks that are impossible to access with a car or truck. You'll start at the Timber Ghost Tours shop and venture out into the north woods using the amazing trail system maintained by local off-roading clubs and the state of Minnesota.

There are several stops along the way for pictures and conversation. One of the very notable sights you will see is the amazing Hockaman Overlook where you can see for miles and miles.

This tour is designed for all skill and experience levels. Incorporate this tour into your trip to the North Shore, renowned for its waterfalls, Lake Superior views, and fun local places to eat and get to know the area.

Get Directions

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Proper clothing and gear will help you get the most out of your riding experience.

Required safety gear, including helmets and goggles, is provided.

Consider dressing in layers: long-sleeve shirt, light jacket or rain jacket, closed-toe shoes, a neck gaiter to wear beneath your helmet.

Feel free to bring a backpack with water, snacks, insect repellant, sunscreen, etc.
