About This Adventure

Up North Power & Sports is located in the Park Rapids area at the heart of Minnesota's Off-Road Triangle, with more than 200 miles of trails for you to explore. The trail can be accessed less than five miles from the Up North Power & Sports facility.

The Off-Road Triangle covers more than 200 miles of trail systems for you to enjoy. To the north, you can explore the Headwaters of the Mississippi River. Thorpe Tower Lookout nestled into the Paul Bunyan State Forest is a great photo opportunity to capture a sunrise/sunset or star gaze.

The Off-Road Triangle gives you the best of trail conditions. You'll experience rocky narrow trails in the Paul Bunyan State Park, as well as sandy forest roads in Huntersville State Park. Some fun places to explore nearby are Stomping Grounds, Iron Horse Bar & Grill, Belle Taine Bungalows, Muskie Waters, and Dorest. Up North Power & Sports is proud to offer latest-model, industry-leading Polaris side by sides for your fun and enjoyment!

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Cancellation policy

We understand that plans can change and we strive to accommodate our customers whenever possible. However, to ensure the availability of our equipment and to maintain the highest quality of service for all customers, we have instituted the following cancellation policy:

  1. Cancellation Window: Customers must cancel their reservation at least 72 hours prior to their scheduled rental time to be eligible for a full refund.

  2. Refunds: If a cancellation is made more than 72 hours in advance of the rental time, the customer will receive a full refund of any amounts paid. Cancellations made within the 72-hour window will result in a forfeiture of the full rental fee.

  3. Method of Cancellation: Cancellations must be made by directly calling our office during regular business hours. We do not accept cancellations via email, text, or social media platforms.

  4. No-Show: If you do not show up for your rental and do not cancel according to our policy, no refund will be provided.

  5. Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy due to emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.

Proper clothing and gear will help you get the most out of your riding experience.

Required safety gear, including helmets and goggles, is provided.

Consider dressing in layers: long-sleeve shirt, light jacket or rain jacket, closed-toe shoes, a neck gaiter to wear beneath your helmet.

Feel free to bring a backpack with water, snacks, sunscreen, etc.
