Including over 85,000 acres of open riding to explore next to the Salton Sea, Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) is one of the top 10 off-roading destinations in the country and has something for riders of all skill levels. Operated by California State Parks, it is an approximately 1.5 hrs drive from San Diego, CA. Explore some of the many points of interest like Pole Line Road, Pumpkin Patch, Shell Reef or Blow Sand Hill. From flat desert trails to steep climbs and fine sand hills (mini dunes), you are sure to find what you are looking for.
