About this Adventure
Starting in St. Elmo, choose from Hancock or Tincup Pass. HANDCOCK TRAIL connects St. Elmo to Pitkin via the 12,140-foot Hancock Pass. After taking in the views, descend to Brittle Silver Basin, on through to Pitkin. Hancock Pass & Alpine Tunnel Road follow the old 1880s railroad grade, passing historic structures and leading to the Alpine Tunnel for a glimpse of Colorado’s mining past. Take your tastebuds on an adventure & stop by the Bonton Bistro for a wide range of lunch / dinner options - found inside the historic Pitkin Hotel. TINCUP PASS takes you directly though Mirror Lake before leading you to the historic town of Tincup. Here you can explore the quaint town and all of it’s historical buildings! Many original cabins have been restored and are used each summer—be sure to stop at Frenchy’s for lunch or a slice of pie! Trails are considered Moderate to Difficult: Most of Hancock Pass is easy wide road. At the top of each pass, riders will experience very rocky and sharp terrain - these sections need to be slow-going. Do not attempt if ANY snow is blocking the road*** Anywhere between 12 & 40 miles depending on which trail and route. About 4 - 6 hours. After your ride, take time to visit St. Elmo, a popular Colorado ghost town where you can hand feel chipmunks - visit the General Store for seeds!

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change and we strive to accommodate our customers whenever possible. However, to ensure the availability of our equipment and to maintain the highest quality of service for all customers, we have instituted the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation Window: Customers must cancel their reservation at least 48 hours prior to their scheduled rental time to be eligible for a full refund.

Refunds: If a cancellation is made more than 48 hours in advance of the rental time, the customer will receive a full refund of any amounts paid. Cancellations made within the 48-hour window will result in a forfeiture of the full rental fee.

Method of Cancellation: Cancellations must be made by directly calling our office during regular business hours. We do not accept cancellations via email, text, or social media platforms.

No-Show: If you do not show up for your rental and do not cancel according to our policy, no refund will be provided.

Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy due to emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.
