About this Adventure

You will travel along a gravel forest service road to the fire tower. Built in 1933 and in service until the mid-1990s. This makes it one of the oldest remaining fire towers in the state.

At 5000 feet in elevation this tower makes for great views. The drive up to the tower is a beautiful winding road that includes a couple of creek crossings and a side spur with a little mud that makes for just the right amount of fun. Remember, if you’re in the back, the driver has complete control of how wet and muddy you get!

Recommended time: 3-4hrs.

Make a day of this adventure by continuing the forest service road to historic downtown Franklin where you will find shopping, restaurants, and gem mines.

Other Guest Requirements

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to have a valid driver's license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 72 hours before the rental, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the rental, you will receive a credit. No refunds or credits are given if you cancel less than 24 hours before the rental.

*ALL BOOKINGS WILL REQUIRE A $500 HOLD PER MACHINE AT THE TIME OF PICKUP ($1000 FOR 24HR RENTALS) WHICH IS RELEASED UPON RETURN WITH NO DAMAGE.

What to bring

Guests are recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, and long shirts and pants for a safe, comfortable ride. A neck gaiter or bandana is also recommended for dust.

Bring extra layers like a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt in case of weather changes. Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, phone charger, bug spray, and sunscreen.
