About This Adventure
Experience the Black Hills National Forest like never before at Spearfish Canyon Lodge with the Cement Ridge Lookout adventure.
Step into a Polaris RZR or Ranger and ride through hundreds of miles of winding off-road trails accompanied by scenic overlooks at every turn. Kick off your tour by driving past Spearfish Falls, a 60-foot waterfall that borders the resort’s property.
Following the trail another mile further, you'll see a picturesque view of Black Hills National Forest and will have the opportunity to stretch your legs on various hiking trails. Hop back in your Polaris vehicle to drive by a small river leading to another breathtaking waterfall, Roughlock Falls.
After soaking in the incredible view, you'll find yourself at a famous movie site where Dances with Wolves was filmed before heading towards Cement Ridge Lookout. Reaching over 6,000 feet in elevation, this outlook destination allows you to see four different states on a clear day, a truly rare sight.
While exploring the extensive trail system, come across several resorts in the area to grab a bite to eat before returning to Spearfish Canyon Lodge.
