Operated by California State Parks, it is an approximately 1.5-hour drive from San Diego, California. Explore some of the many points of interest like Pole Line Road, Pumpkin Patch, Shell Reef, or Blow Sand Hill. From flat desert trails to steep climbs and fine sandhills (mini dunes), you are sure to find what you are looking for on this multi-day rental.

Other Guest Requirements

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to have a valid driver's license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a full refund or credit If you give notice of cancellation at least two weeks prior to your reservation date. With cancellations less than two weeks prior to the reservation date, there is 0% refunded. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

What to bring

Guests are recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, and long shirts and pants for a safe, comfortable ride.

A neck gaiter or bandana is also recommended for dust, to wear beneath your helmet (helmet and goggles are always provided).

Bring extra layers like a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt in case of weather changes.

Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, bug spray, and sunscreen.
