Located just outside Steamboat Springs, Buffalo Pass offers one of Colorado’s most breathtaking RZR adventures. This 36-mile round-trip journey takes you deep into untouched terrain with awe-inspiring, Alaska-style scenery—towering pines, expansive meadows, and high-alpine vistas. Though the landscape feels wild and remote, this ride remains family-friendly and safe for all experience levels. Colorado Sled Rentals delivers a memorable adventure on Buffalo Pass. All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to have a valid driver's license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Cancellation Policy

A quick reminder of our cancelation policy:

Cancelation insurance is available at checkout for 10% of your reservation total. Guests who opt for this can cancel anytime, up to the day of their reservation, for a full refund (minus the insurance fee).

Without cancelation insurance, cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to your reservation date to receive a full refund.

Inside the 10-day window, reservations are non-refundable. However, we’re happy to move your dates, pending availability, or convert your reservation into a credit for future use.

No-Show: If you do not show up for your rental and do not cancel according to our policy, no refund will be provided.

Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy due to emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.

What to bring

Guests are recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, and long shirts and pants for a safe, comfortable ride. A neck gaiter or bandana is also recommended for dust, to wear beneath your helmet (helmet and goggles are always provided).

Bring extra layers like a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt in case of weather changes. Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, bug spray, and sunscreen.
