Deep powder and adventure! Level up to the Colorado backcountry and ride where the locals ride. The Silverton Backcountry Powder Experience is a full day of guided powder riding on Polaris RMK mountain sleds, built for deep, fresh snow. It’s perfect for previous riders, people who know what “braaap” means, adrenaline junkies, and anyone looking for an epic adventure.
Groups are small, with fewer than five riders per guide, and every rider is on their own sled. That means more coaching, more riding, and more fresh tracks. Your highly skilled guide plans the day around snow conditions, rider experience, and avalanche risk, taking you into the best terrain of our 55,000-acre riding area. When avalanche conditions call for it, avalanche packs, shovels, beacons, and probes are provided.
Previous snowmobiling experience is preferred, but not required. Lunch is included, so you can refuel on the mountain and keep riding. Be ready for a full day of powder, and don’t forget your camera. There will be awesome sights!

Cancellation Policy
A great deal of preparation accompanies your reservation requiring the following cancellation policy: 50% may be refundable if your reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours (3 days) before the reservation date. Cancellations inside 72 hours of tour or rental departures are not subject to refund and will be charge the full balance. No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds. Although, a one-time date or time change may be allowed within the same year, based on availability and circumstances. A $15 per person change fee will apply.
