About this Adventure
This is a backcountry specific tour offering for experienced riders and/or those wanting to amp up their adventure while learning some tricks & tips from an experienced guide in a clinic
Snowmobile insurance is included in all tour rentals. Please come prepared for your tour. Wear your ski and snowboard clothing or winter weather clothing to keep you warm. We recommend snow pants, jackets, boots, gloves and warm layers. Goggles are required and are available for purchase at our winter outpost.
Ice Pirates provides complimentary helmets that are thoroughly disinfected between each use. But, you are welcome to bring your own DOT approved helmet if you choose. We do not rent other snow gear.
Ice Pirates encourages you to bring your own goggles, water and snacks on the trail. Sunscreen is recommended.
On the Full Day Backcountry tours we take a break part way through the adventure to enjoy a complimentary sandwich buffet style lunch to refuel for the second half of the day. Please call the office for any special dietary needs or allergies at least one day prior to tour departure.

Cancellation Policy
A great deal of preparation accompanies your reservation requiring the following cancellation policy: 50% may be refundable if your reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours (3 days) before the reservation date. Cancellations inside 72 hours of tour or rental departures are not subject to refund and will be charge the full balance. No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds. Although we may allow a one-time change within the same year based upon availability and circumstance.
