About This Adventure
Rent a Polaris RZR from two to eight hours to explore the beautiful area surrounding Bryson City in western North Carolina. The RZR can go on and off-road with seating for up to four, making it a great choice for families and groups. The nearby Wayehutta (pronounced Worry-Hut) OHV Trail System features a 28-mile loop trail system using old rail beds and logging roads in the Roy Taylor Forest near Cullowhee, roughly 30 minutes from downtown Bryson City.
The family-oriented Wayehutta Trail System features a 2,000-foot elevation change (from 2,500 to 4,500) and includes a trail for beginners. You’ll twist and turn past a scenic waterfall, cross bridges, and can make it a relaxing ride or a more challenging endeavor depending on your desire and skill level.
Your Polaris RZR side by side rental from Appalachian Adventure Rentals can be driven on two-lane roads with a speed limit of 55 mph or less, and on four-lane roads with a speed limit of 35 mph or less. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and Cherokee can be accessed from the Appalachian Adventure Rentals headquarters. RZRs cannot be driven on highways in North Carolina.

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.
Proper clothing and gear will help you get the most out of your riding experience.
Required safety gear, including helmets and goggles, is provided.
Consider dressing in layers: long-sleeve shirt, light jacket or rain jacket, closed-toe shoes, a neck gaiter to wear beneath your helmet.
