Board the Durango Narrow Gauge train at 10 a.m. and ride it to the Cascade Canyon wilderness. After lunch, deboard at the Rockwood Wye where Ice Pirates shuttles you to their outpost for a 2-hour snowmobile tour. Guests receive an “Ice Pirates Booty Bag” and transportation back to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Depot.

Flight: With affordability and variety in mind, your best bet is to fly into the Denver International Airport. The preferred airline here is Delta.
Ground Transportation: Drive down to Durango through the mountains. You'll want to choose a rental with AWD/4WD as some passes have restrictions.
