Red stone hills, sand dunes, turquoise waters...it’s no wonder Sand Hollow State Park is considered a southern Utah treasure. The Mad Moose Sand Mountain Dunes Off-Road Tour is designed to allow riders to experience the best of this area’s varied terrain as they traverse a variety of ecosystems with ORVs. Sand Mountain is a red-rock formation south of Sand Hollow Lake that reaches 4,194 ft at its highest elevation. You’ll be immersed in the geology of the area, where mineral cements have turned blowing sand into sandstone throughout millions of years. Your guide will share fun facts throughout your journey and will gear your ride to the experience level and desires of your group.
