About this Adventure
Black Mountain Lookout, located in Bighorn National Forest, is a great destination to see while riding in the Bighorns. Trail S to FRS 222 will take you there.
On the way, you can experience boondocking, creek riding, and small protected meadows off trails C, A, and S. Ride right from Elk View Inn's parking lot. This adventure is over 30 miles round-trip depending on your amount off-trail riding.
Black Mountain Fire Lookout was constructed in the 1930's on top of Black Mountain, elevation 9,489 ft. Recommended for beginners, intermediate, and experienced riders.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change and we strive to accommodate our customers whenever possible. However, to ensure the availability of our equipment and to maintain the highest quality of service for all customers, we have instituted the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation Window: Customers must cancel their reservation at least 72 hours prior to their scheduled rental time to be eligible for a full refund.
Refunds: If a cancellation is made more than 72 hours in advance of the rental time, the customer will receive a full refund of any amounts paid. Cancellations made within the 72-hour window will result in a forfeiture of the full rental fee.
Method of Cancellation: Cancellations must be made by directly calling our office during regular business hours. We do not accept cancellations via email, text, or social media platforms.
No-Show: If you do not show up for your rental and do not cancel according to our policy, no refund will be provided.
Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy due to emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.
