About This Adventure
The Wagon Box Area, located in Bighorn National Forest north of M Trail, is another vast expanse of open meadows, steep and deep, cornices, draws, and timber riding. Ride right from Elk View Inn's parking lot.
After about 24 miles on the groomed trails, head north off of M trail. Duncan Mountain at around 9823 ft. and Boyd Ridge & Crater Ridge to the north are full of endless possibilities for the more adventurous.
Recommended for intermediate to experienced riders only. Amazing views and backcountry riding!

Cancellation policy
We understand that plans can change and we strive to accommodate our customers whenever possible. However, to ensure the availability of our equipment and to maintain the highest quality of service for all customers, we have instituted the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation Window: Customers must cancel their reservation at least 72 hours prior to their scheduled rental time to be eligible for a full refund.
Refunds: If a cancellation is made more than 72 hours in advance of the rental time, the customer will receive a full refund of any amounts paid. Cancellations made within the 72-hour window will result in a forfeiture of the full rental fee.
Method of Cancellation: Cancellations must be made by directly calling our office during regular business hours. We do not accept cancellations via email, text, or social media platforms.
No-Show: If you do not show up for your rental and do not cancel according to our policy, no refund will be provided.
Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy due to emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.

What to Bring
Guests are recommended to wear winter clothing, including winter socks and snow boots, waterproof gloves, snow pants and parka, and winter hat.
A neck gaiter is recommended to wear beneath your helmet and is available for purchase. (helmet and goggles are always provided).
Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, sunglasses, and hand and toe warmers. (These items are also available for purchase in our gift shop)
