About This Adventure

Want to explore some of the best snowmobiling in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula? Head to Renze Power Sports in Munising on the shores of Lake Superior. Renze makes it convenient to rent Polaris snowmobiles for exploring the area's vast network of groomed and maintained trails (300 miles and growing) as well as getting off the beaten path to venture across snow-covered meadows and lakes.

Munising is in Alger County, which receives an annual 233 inches of snow due to lake-effect conditions. Plus, snow falls earlier and lasts longer here, which makes for a fantastically long snowmobile season. Ten area trails are groomed seven days a week (weather permitting), and these trails will allow you to access almost every corner of the county—from Shingleton to Grand Marais, Marquette, and Rapid River—as well as venture into surrounding counties for multi-day rides.

Renze Power Sports--Munising rents model year short-track and long-track Polaris snowmobiles. A rental day begins 10am the first day and ends 9am the second day. Helmets, pants, coats, gloves, and boots are also available for daily rental.
