Ready to explore one of Minnesota’s most popular snowmobiling regions? Up North Outfitters is the place to rent one- or two-seater Polaris snowmobiles and explore more than 270+ miles of groomed trails surrounding Park Rapids—most of which are maintained by local snowmobile clubs. You can easily ride your sled to the Heartland State Trail, created on an abandoned railroad grade, just one mile down the road, but the team at Up North Outfitters is also happy to create a custom itinerary that will maximize your time on the trails based on your group’s interests and skill level.
No matter how you spend your time, you can count on beautiful terrain and plenty of places to stop for food and refreshments. Lodging options in charming Park Rapids are also abound, making it easy to book a snowmobile rental for several days or even a week to make the very most of your time in the heart of Lake Country.
Be sure to save time for a stop at Itasca State Park (as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer), Aunt Belle's Confectionary on Main Avenue, and two or three of the popular restaurants in and around Park Rapids.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change and we strive to accommodate our customers whenever possible. However, to ensure the availability of our equipment and to maintain the highest quality of service for all customers, we have instituted the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation Window: Customers must cancel their reservation at least 72 hours prior to their scheduled rental time to be eligible for a full refund.
Refunds: If a cancellation is made more than 72 hours in advance of the rental time, the customer will receive a full refund of any amounts paid. Cancellations made within the 72-hour window will result in a forfeiture of the full rental fee.
Method of Cancellation: Cancellations must be made by directly calling our office during regular business hours. We do not accept cancellations via email, text, or social media platforms.
No-Show: If you do not show up for your rental and do not cancel according to our policy, no refund will be provided.
Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy due to emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.
