About This Adventure

Ready to explore one of Minnesota’s most popular snowmobiling regions? Up North Power & Sports is the place to rent one- or two-seater Polaris snowmobiles to explore than 270+ miles of groomed trails surrounding Park Rapids—most of which are maintained by local snowmobile clubs. You can easily ride your sled to the Heartland State Trail, created on an abandoned railroad grade, just one mile down the road, but the team at Up North Power & Sports is also happy to create a custom itinerary that will maximize your time on the trails based on your group’s interests and skill level.

No matter how you spend your time, you can count on beautiful terrain and plenty of places to stop for food and refreshments. Lodging options in charming Park Rapids also abound, making it easy to book a snowmobile rental for several days or even a week to make the very most of your time in the heart of Lake Country.

Be sure to save time for a stop at Itasca State Park (as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer), Cuzzin’s Candy Store on Main Avenue, and two or three of the popular restaurants in and around Park Rapids.
