With a prime location on the area’s best snowmobile trail systems, Headwaters Polaris equips riders to conveniently access and explore the gorgeous surrounding terrain, including 2,000+ miles of groomed trails that will take you past numerous overlooks and other points of interest—with numerous spots to stop and warm up with a cozy lunch break during your ride. Headwaters Polaris will provide you with detailed maps and guidance on how to maximize your excursion.  

Michigan's UP is paradise for winter enthusiasts, and Headwaters Polaris is the place to kick off your day of fun on new, comfortable, fully loaded Polaris snowmobiles. You can select a single- or double-passenger set-up, allowing for a family-friendly ride that features legendary, confidence-inspiring performance that's perfect for touring on groomed trails.

All Headwaters Polaris snowmobile rentals are for 23 hours (9am the first day to 8 am the second day). Optional heated helmets are available to rent for $25.

Get Directions

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Arrive for your Adventure equipped with adequate winter clothing to ensure a comfortable ride.

Required safety gear, including helmets, is provided.

Winter socks, snow boots, waterproof gloves, snow pants, winter coat/parks, winter hat, gaiter to wear under helmet

Feel free to bring a backpack with water, snacks, etc.
