The Steamboat Springs Backcountry Experience is the ultimate backcountry guided snowmobile adventure. This backcountry ride is personalized to you. Our experienced guides can show you the ropes or take you to new heights. Whether you want to play in the powder, cruise trails, or ride through the forest, Steamboat Springs has it all and Colorado Sled Rentals can take you there. After riding all morning, our guides will set up a cozy fireside lunch to warm up and refuel for the rest of your day. You’ll be back to our shop in Steamboat by 5:00 PM; just in time to get ready for your evening plans.Print Itinerary
All participants must wear helmet and eye protection. Drivers must be 18 years of age or older to drive, 25 years of age with minors passengers must be able to simultaneously grasp the handholds, firmly plant feet on the floor, with back fully against the seat back rest. Specific state regulations may supercede guidelines, please confirm with the local outfitter.
WHAT TO BRING
We recommend warm layers, winter boots, gloves, and goggles. Helmets and avalanche gear are provided with your rental!
If you don’t have a good snow suit we have Polaris Mono-suits available to rent.
The easiest airport to fly into is Yampa Valley Regional Airport.
Avis and Hertz are available at the airport.
