OVERVIEW

Explore 55,000+ acres of terrain in the stunning White River National Forest. Start at the Nova Guides lodge nestled at 9,200 feet and adventure to tree line as you climb to 12,000+ feet in the latest Polaris RZR. Go with a guide or sightsee on your own to enjoy the heart of the Rocky Mountains complete with endless miles of aspens, lush meadows, wildflowers, rushing brooks and a chance to spot wildlife such as elk, deer, and moose. Venture along the Continental Divide through the high alpine terrain while being surrounded by crystal clear views of the two highest peaks in Colorado; Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive. Morning tours include a hot lunch at the Nova Guides lodge restaurant, McAllister’s Grill, bon appétit!

GUEST REQUIREMENTS

All participants must wear helmet and eye protection. Drivers must be 18 years of age or older to drive, 25 years of age with minors passengers must be able to simultaneously grasp the handholds, firmly plant feet on the floor, with back fully against the seat back rest. Specific state regulations may supercede guidelines, please confirm with the local outfitter.


LOCATION DETAILS
From Vail, Breckenridge, and Keystone: take I-70 and head west. From Beaver Creek: Take I-70 and head east, take the Minturn/Leadville exit 171, at the bottom of the ramp turn right onto Highway 24. You will proceed about 15 miles and the driveway will be on the left just pass mile marker 159. It is marked with Nova Guides signage. Once you turn into the driveway, follow it down and check into the Lodge. From Leadville: head north out of Leadville, follow signs to turn left onto Hwy 24 West and travel 15 miles. The Nova Guides driveway is 9/10ths of a mile past mile marker 160. The driveway will be on the right-hand side with a wooden entry and Nova Guides signage. Once you turn onto the driveway, follow it down and check into the Lodge.

WHAT TO BRING

Nova Guides recommend long pants, close-toed shoes, layers and a bandana to keep you warm, as you will be going up in elevation where temperature drops.
