Riding a snowmobile on groomed snowmobile trails or off trail on snowy or icy terrain.
Outfitters provide a suggested route, trail map, and list of sites/attractions to riders who want to adventure on their own.
When you don’t want to commit to exclusively trail riding or back country riding, choose the Wallace Hybrid Tour! This tour features new, one- or two-person Polaris 650 Switchback snowmobiles, designed with a longer track that provides the ability to get off the trail for some back country exploring.
The folks at MMAR--Wallace will make sure your group gets on the absolute best trails possible given current weather and snow conditions and will add in a bit of back country riding that suits your group’s comfort and skill level. Open-field terrain, forest floors, mountain riding...you’ll get a taste of it all on this guided Adventure, ideal for riders of all skill levels. You’ll see train tunnels, trestles, and numerous relics of Idaho’s rich silver-mining history. Getting hungry? Go over Moon Pass to the town of Avery and enjoy a delicious pizza at TFP’s. This is widely regarded as some of the best snowmobiling territory in the country, all with the convenience of being able to park-and-ride from the MMAR--Wallace office.
MMAR--Wallace Outfitter personnel will be familiar with current snow and weather conditions and can craft a loose itinerary designed to accomplish whatever your group is seeking.
Available in four-hour and eight-hour increments.
