What does ERX stand for? Elk River Extreme Motor Park, the Midwest's premier year-round motorsports and events facility. Co-Owners, Todd Plaisted and Chris Carlson saw hockey rinks, basketball courts, and baseball fields in their hometown of Elk River, Minnesota. However, what it lacked was a space for their children to hone their skills on a race track. Plaisted and Carlson joined forces to provide a solution for demand in the industry. What started as a training facility has transformed into a year-round motorsports mecca. ERX opened its gates in 2008 and quickly became a wildly popular snowmobile training and grassroots racing facility for youth, amateur and professional riders. Today, ERX is home to a number of the industry's premier snowmobile and off-road races and now offers off-road rentals through the Polaris Adventures program. Though the facility is rapidly growing and changing, the number one goal has remained the same: Building Champions. ERX Motor Park is equipped with off-site meetings and team-building opportunities for large goups. With a combination of world-class facilities, a 500-acre off-road park, including 13-miles of trails, and hands-on training from professional drivers, they create a safe, fun, and unifying off-site program unlike any other. Coordinating events can be taxing; let ERX do the heavy lifting. Plan a seamless event that fits all your corporate needs. Contact ERX Motor Park to schedule a tour.
