Tours led by experienced guides can take your group through slot canyons, around red rocks formations, and over sand dunes at whatever pace you desire, stopping to take in the magnificent beauty of the Sand Hollow riding area, including the turquoise waters of two large reservoirs. Mad Moose is located across the street from a trailhead leading to 50,000 acres of riding area that the Bureau of Land Management oversees—you can ride here 100 times and never experience the same ride twice. 

With lodging available at nearby Sand Hollow Resort (a Mad Moose partner), you can easily create a two- or three-day off-roading vacation for your family and friends. Area restaurants abound, including favorites like Lonny Boy’s BBQ, famous for their frychos—fresh house fries smothered in pulled pork and topped with nacho cheese.
