The campground entrance has a well maintained connector trail directly across MN Highway 37 for UTVs (side by sides), ATVs and motorcycles that leads to the Genoa Trail which runs between Eveleth and Gilbert and continues to the Iron Range Off-Highway Vehicle State Recreation Area and local trails.

Gilbert is home to the Iron Range Off-Highway Vehicle State Recreation Area. This expansive park features over 1,200 acres of recreation trails, scramble areas, and facilities for a variety of off-road vehicles. An unpaved connector trail from our location allows direct trail access to the Iron Range OHV Park.

The Genoa Trail is a well maintained, gravel connection to both Eveleth and Gilbert. Gilbert connects you to the larger trail systems.
