About this Adventure

Spend a half-day, full-day, or multiple days in a Polaris side by side at Silver Plume Rentals. Located in Pitkin, you'll discover incredible off-road adventures in the backcountry of Colorado. The historic Alpine Tunnel district is a great visit for the history buffs out there. Drive out to the Alpine Tunnel to see the first railroad created through the Continental Divide. In this area, there are also various high-altitude passes to cross and explore. Venture up 12,000 feet to see the Cumberland Pass, Hancock Pass, Tin Cup Pass, and many more. If you're looking to take in mountain and lake views, American Flag Mountain, Cross Mountain, and Mirror Lake are full of beautiful spots to take photos.

Other Guest Requirements

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to have a valid driver's license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that I cannot get a refund on my reservation unless I notify Silver Plume Rentals 14 days or further in advance, in which case it will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit funds. Any later notice will be subject to NO refund.

What to bring

Guests are recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, and long shirts and pants for a safe, comfortable ride.

A neck gaiter or bandana is also recommended for dust, to wear beneath your helmet (helmet and goggles are always provided).

Bring extra layers like a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt in case of weather changes.

Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, bug spray, and sunscreen.
