About this Adventure

Take the wheel of a Polaris Slingshot and carve through the Appalachian Mountains, where sweeping curves and scenic overlooks make every mile unforgettable. The ride opens into Burke’s Garden, a massive valley known as “God’s Thumbprint,” surrounded by towering ridgelines. Inside, rolling farmland, quiet roads, and a traditional Amish community create a peaceful contrast to the thrill of the drive—making this adventure truly one of a kind.

What's included

Use of a Polaris vehicle is part of the rental fee. Helmets are provided - and required - for all riders on all Adventures. Appropriate, vehicle-specific safety gear is provided. Navigation equipment is provided.

Rider Requirements

All drivers of the Slingshot are required to have valid driver's license. A motorcycle endorsement may be required by specific states in which the vehicle is being operated. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations will be charged a 10% (of deposit) cancellation fee.

Trailhead Adventures will issue a full refund minus the 10% cancellation fee if cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to the reservation start time.

Trailhead Adventures will not issue refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the reservation start time.

We offer a one-time courtesy reservation rescheduling if the change to the reservation is made at least 48 hours before the reservation start time.

Rescheduling is based on rental availability, and the new reservation must take place during the current riding season.

Please call 276-945-3089 to cancel your reservation. Cancellations cannot be made online.

What to bring

Guests are recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, long shirts and pants, and sunglasses to ensure your safety during the ride.

Bring extra layers like a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt in case of weather changes.

Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, and sunscreen.
