What better place to give snowmobiling a try—or show off your pre-existing shredding skills—than the official Snowmobile Capital of the World? Eagle River, Wisconsin, not only boasts that distinction, but also is home to the annual World Championship Snowmobile Derby. With a large fleet of latest-model Polaris snowmobiles and access to more than 600 miles of groomed trails directly from the rental facility, Track Side is an ideal starting point for a day of snowmobiling adventures.
Navigating the surrounding trails is easy because they’re all numbered. Some of the more popular trails include Trail 7, a nicely winding trail through towering trees to Dam Lake (where you can warm up and grab a snack at Pitlik’s Sand Beach Resort).
With one- and two-person snowmobiles available for all-day rentals, you can create the kind of snowmobiling excursion that appeals to your group. Or, consider a multi-day rental and stay in one of area’s many lodging options. Don’t have all the gear? Don’t worry! Track Side rents bibs, jackets, and boots that will keep you warm and toasty for your entire snowmobiling adventure.
You will be able to pick up your snowmobile rental from Track Side and drive it directly onto the trail. (Note we DO NOT allow trailering)
WHAT WE RENT:
We offer Polaris Indy 650 137 track snowmobiles equipped with front and rear (for 2up) hand warmers, heated visor plugs and windshields. Each unit also features Polaris Ride Command navigation system on the 7S display screens. You can also customize group rides if needed.
Our single-seat and two-up snowmobiles are the same model- the only difference is that the two-up includes an additional passenger seat on the back.
Our single seat snowmobiles- will come equipped with a small storage bag attached to the back.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans may change, and we aim to accommodate our customers as best as possible. To help ensure equipment availability and maintain top-quality service for everyone, we have established the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance: 50% of your deposit will be retained, and the remaining 50% will be refunded.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance: The deposit is non-refundable.
Exceptions
In cases of emergencies, exceptions to this policy may be made at management’s discretion and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
