Launch directly from SouthFork Lodge and ride straight into the heart of the Boise National Forest on your own schedule. Whether you’re looking for a quick taste of winter adventure or a full day of deep backcountry exploration, we offer both half-day and full-day snowmobile rentals designed for every level of rider.
Half-Day Rentals give you up to 4 hours to cruise snowy trails, explore the forest around the South Fork of the Payette River, and enjoy a scenic winter escape without the all-day commitment. Perfect for families, first-timers, or anyone who wants to pair a ride with breakfast, lunch, or an evening by the fire at the lodge.
Full-Day Rentals open the door to the real Idaho backcountry. Spend up to 8 hours adventuring deep into the mountains—climbing toward views over Bear Valley, following ridgelines toward Stanley, Idaho, or wandering through untouched meadows. With a full day, you set the pace and choose how far your adventure goes.
Both options include access to top-tier gear, a warm home base at the lodge, incredible food waiting when you return, and the kind of family-friendly atmosphere that turns a winter outing into a lifelong memory.

Other Guest Requirements
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change and we strive to accommodate our customers whenever possible. However, to ensure the availability of our equipment and to maintain the highest quality of service for all customers, we have instituted the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation Window: Customers must cancel their reservation at least 72 hours prior to their scheduled rental time to be eligible for a full refund.

Refunds: If a cancellation is made more than 72 hours in advance of the rental time, the customer will receive a full refund of any amounts paid. Cancellations made within the 72-hour window will result in a forfeiture of the full rental fee.

Method of Cancellation: Cancellations must be made by directly calling our office during regular business hours. We do not accept cancellations via email, text, or social media platforms.

No-Show: If you do not show up for your rental and do not cancel according to our policy, no refund will be provided.

Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy due to emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.
