An ideal, efficient ride if you don’t have a lot of time or just want to give snowmobiling a quick try, the two-hour guided San Juan Mountains tour runs seven days a week with Ice Pirates, a premier southern Colorado adventure outfitter minutes from Silverton.
Enjoy the morning ride (9am departure) or the afternoon ride (3pm departure). Either way, you’ll be surprised at how much snowmobiling fun can be packed into 120 minutes!
After a quick safety session, you’ll climb aboard a new Polaris snowmobile rental before venturing into a 55,000-acre area of the San Juan Mountains that only Ice Pirates and private snowmobile owners can access. Photo ops will abound, including unbeatable views of the Grenadiers Range, Mount Snowden, Grant Turk, Kendall Mountain and La Plata Mountain Range.

Cancellation Policy
A great deal of preparation accompanies your reservation requiring the following cancellation policy: 50% may be refundable if your reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours (3 days) before the reservation date. Cancellations inside 72 hours of tour or rental departures are not subject to refund and will be charge the full balance. No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds. Although, a one-time date or time change may be allowed within the same year, based on availability and circumstances. A $15 per person change fee will apply.
