About This Adventure
Take the Prospector's Run off-road tour at Albany Lodge, a resort tucked into the canyon in Medicine Bow Routt National Forest, at the base of the Snowy Range Mountains in Wyoming. An Adventure guide provides the fascinating history of the Old West in this tour that takes you back to the Gold Rush times. You'll travel some of the 500 miles of pine-forested trails in the Medicine Bow Mountains, featuring silvery grey summits and patches of snow that last throughout the summer. Experience the North Platte River, explore canyons, ride along mountain creeks, and cruise through alpine meadows. Wildlife abounds here, as mule deer, elk, moose, black bear, mountain lions, and more call the Medicine Bow Mountains home. Choose to rent a Polaris RZR, Ranger, or GENERAL with half or full-day rental options. Prepare a meal before you go, or order one from the Lodge's restaurant to-go.
