Great Outdoors Adventures connects guests from a private ranch trailhead directly to the North Divide trail system in Pike National Forest in a Polaris GENERAL. The Pike National Forest is located just west of Colorado Springs and encompasses over one million acres of Rocky Mountain terrain. Pikes Peak, the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountain, reaches an elevation of 14,115 feet and creates an unparalleled backdrop to adventure seekers as they explore the national forest. As guests ride across the endless miles of trails in the Pikes National Forest they will ride alongside streams that flow through the area. Guests that embark on the Pikes National Forest Adventure will venture on infinite trails and experience some of the most picturesque views in the country. You must be at least 18 years old to rent a machine. If there are passengers under the age of 18, you must be at least 25 years of age. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
All participants must wear helmet and eye protection. Drivers must be 18 years of age or older to drive, 25 years of age with minors passengers must be able to simultaneously grasp the handholds, firmly plant feet on the floor, with back fully against the seat back rest. Specific state regulations may supercede guidelines, please confirm with the local outfitter.
WHAT TO BRING
Great Outdoors Adventures recommends that guests wear long pants, close-toed shoes and a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt. They also recommend that guests bring waterproof layers in the case of afternoon rain showers and a water bottle to keep you hydrated.
