Starting with a chairlift ride to the ski area summit, ride our private ridgetop trails over Sandpoint and take in the vast views of the Selkirk Mountains, Lake Pend Oreille and the Priest River Valleys. Expert, licensed guides will lead you through deep snow on our regularly maintained groomed trails while you twist and turn on the mountainside trails, take pictures, perhaps spotting a local critter or two. Riding hungry? Start or finish your tour with a burger and drink from Schweitzer's Sky House lodge.

"We purchased the ridge tour for 3 of us at the Lakeview Lodge this past weekend and had a great time! Everything went so smoothly: from the ticket purchase, ride up the mountain, orientation, and the actual ride. We had the last tour of the day so went up to the Sky House for a nice lunch (the prime rib sliders are awesome!) and then met up with Sage, our guide, just outside the Sky House. Sage walked us over to their hut where he helped us pick out helmets and then provided a complete description of how to operate the snow mobiles safely. Then we were off on our adventure! Sage was very attentive to make sure everyone was comfortable handling their snow mobile and stopped at key points to check in with us and describe the territory and wildlife. The views were spectacular and we really enjoyed Sage's commentary. He was very patient, allowing us to take a ton of photos and answered every question in detail. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who hasn't had the opportunity yet. For us it was an awesome finish to a great ski trip.
Again, kudos to Sage and the rest of the Selkirk Powder crew!"
"Snowmobile experience- My fiancée and teenage son and I went snowmobiling while staying at Schweitzer Resort. We are Southerners so this was our first experience doing this. Unbelievably wonderful! Sean, our guide, was fantastic. His instruction was excellent and he even pointed out animal tracks in the snow to my son which was fascinating to him. And, when it was all over, hot chocolate and candies for our low blood sugar!"
"First time snowmobiling- Excellent, enthusiastic guides. Beautiful scenery. Perfect way to spend time on the mountain if you’re not skiing. Would definitely put this one on your 'to do' list."
"Snowmobile Tour- Fantastic trip, guide, new machines. Beautiful back country. Easy for a novice. Interesting for an experienced rider."
