About This Adventure

Tread through freshly laid snow or smoothly groomed trails for a unique snowy adventure 9,500 feet in elevation. Located just outside of the northeast corner of Uncompahgre National Forest, expect to find spectacular views as you drift through the backcountry in an all-new Polaris snowmobile rental. Rentals are available for half, full, or multiple days depending on your stay. Trails start right from Arrowhead Mountain Lodge and off the Alpine Plateau toward the scenic San Juan Mountains. Pair your Snowmobile rental with a few night's stay at the lodge for the perfect ride and stay package riding on and off the trails all winter long. Experienced staff are knowledgeable in the trail system and can provide tips on where to go based on your skill level and interests.

Rider Requirements

All drivers of off-road vehicles are required to be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license. All passengers must be able to grasp a handhold with their hands, plant feet firmly on the ground, and have their back fully against the backrest. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated.

Feel free to bring along a backpack with water, snacks, sunglasses, and hand and toe warmers.
