Tour Maine history by Polaris INDY or Switchback snowmobile at Shin Pond Village, a 100-acre family owned and operated recreational resort. The 120-mile, round-trip adventure starts on pristine, groomed trails to Libby Camps, an 140-year-old sporting camp and outpost, to load up on fuel and food. Then you’ll set course for the 'Ghost Trains' that in reside in the woods between Eagle and Chamberlain Lakes. In the early 1900s, these trains were used to transport pulpwood to mills. The steam locomotives sit abandoned next to the old railway. The eerie rail cars, tracks, and coal-burning furnaces can still be seen.
Whether you're new to snowmobiling or have plenty of sledding experiences under your belt, this ride is sure to be unforgettable.
