All drivers of snow vehicles are required to be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license. All passengers must be able to grasp handhold with their hands and plant feet firmly on the ground. Helmets and eye protection are always required to be worn when the vehicle is being operated. Snow pants, winter jacket, winter gloves, warm under layers, and snow boots are highly recommended for a safe, comfortable ride.

Seasonality : Winter
Terrain Type : Mountain, Snow

Essentially, you’ll want to dress for playing in the snow all day. We suggest you bring a good pair of polypropylene style long underwear (top and bottom), a good pair of ski socks (polypropylene or wool, no cotton), comfortable middle layers such as sweatshirts, sweatpants, and polar fleece. For outerwear, waterproof and windproof layers (ski or snow pants and jacket), and gloves that are warm and waterproof. Helmets are required and provided free of charge for all riders. However, they are a “motocross” style helmet, so you will need to bring goggles. Snowmobile or ski goggles work the best (moto/dirt goggles work but have a tendency to fog). A camera is a must-have to capture the spectacular beauty of snow-dusted trees, frozen lakes, and blanketed mountainsides. Always remember to bring fluids and food and leave jewelry at home.

Polaris Adventures focuses on the safety of every rider, from vehicle overviews & training before every ride to a modern check out process, our outfitters are there to make sure you have a safe, memorable, adventure.

"There's a reason every review is 5 stars!!! These guys rock! Not only do they ensure you have all your equipment and it fits well, the sleds are top notch. The gear is all in good condition as well, and the suit you can rent works well. So on top of that, the guides are excellent. Tony took us every where we wanted to go. He's an exceptional teacher as well, providing excellent instruction and patience. When you get stuck, and you will get stuck of you are really riding, the guides are happy to help you out, and show you how to get yourself out as well. HIGHLY recommend CSR and their guides. For reference, I went with two sons. We are all experienced dirt bike riders, but they've not spent any time on sleds, and it's been many many years since I've spent any amount of time on one."

"Awesome customer service! Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to accommodate us with a short notice guided tour with top of the line sleds and gear. John was an incredible guide. We had a small group of 3 and he personalized the trip to our abilities. He greatly helped us improve our riding skills and comfort level. Thank you John and CSR!"

"My buddy and I went to Colorado for a 2-day snowmobiling trip. These guys made the trip one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. They spare no money when it comes to sleds and riding gear. Our guides for both days were extremely helpful and fun. They really went the extra mile to make sure we're having fun and tailored the rides to our desire. This place is now my go-to place whenever I wanna go back-country snowmobiling in Colorado."

"We've had the pleasure of riding with these guys 2 years in a row. Not only is it one of the greatest experiences of your life, but they also have a great staff that will make you feel at home. Special thanks to Tony & Blaine for being the greatest guides anyone could ask for! There's no question that this is the best snowmobiling in the country!! Hope to see you guys again soon!"

"BEST DAY EVERRRR!!!! I've rented sleds from a couple different shops and none of them were as organized, friendly, knowledgeable or had top of the line gear and sleds like CSR! CSR is so amazing that we decided to rent sleds another day because the first day was so good. We did a guided day with AJ and I HIGHLY recommend going out with a guide. He took all the stress out of the day... showed us his favorite stashes of untouched pow and even helped teach us some techniques to help dial in our sled handling. Lets say that even if you think you're an awesome/competent snowmobile rider, the knowledge of the CSR guides will take your sled game to the next level. There also might have been a couple situations where our group got a sled stuck and AJ was there with the knowledge and strength to get us unstuck in no time. Beyond the amazing sledding... it was truly just an awesome 2 days, even when we weren't riding. We built a little fire during lunch and ate amazing sandwiches and cookies from Yampa Sandwich Co. (a local deli in town) and then get back at it until we were so tired we couldn't ride anymore... even if we never wanted to stop. Haha. Thank you so much to AJ and the team at CSR... You guys will have a repeat customer every year!"
