Wilde Recreation is where wilderness meets adventure in northern Maine. This full-service Outfitter is nestled in the heart of Aroostook County (known around here as "The County") and connects riders to thousands of miles of ATV and snowmobile trails featuring endless woods, rolling potato fields, and peaceful rivers—not to mention deer, moose, and other wildlife. In the summer, new-model Polaris RZRs and GENERALs are available for day trips throughout the stunning St. John Valley and as far as the remote Allagash region.

In the winter, you can climb aboard a new-model Polaris snowmobile to explore the best of Maine’s winter beauty, with several restaurants serving as ideal rest stops during your journey. Whether you visit in summer or winter, the abandoned Loring Air Force Base will be a highlight of your day. Ride by the huge hangars and down the empty runway—and don’t forget to take a group photo.

Wilde Recreation is co-located with St. Peter's Country Store in Cross Lake, Maine. The store has been a staple of the community for over 123 years, supplying groceries and gasoline and serving as the preferred gathering spot for locals and visitors. Because there’s so much to experience, one day with Wilde Recreation isn’t enough.
